Melbourne based singer-songwriter Lucy Wisegrew up in Margaret River, WA. Shehas delighted audiences across Australia, New Zealand and the UK with her unique blend of folk, chamber and pop music combined with masterful storytelling and a soulful voice. Drawing inspiration from her background in Appalachian and Celtic folk music, Lucy’s songs sketch universally recognisable stories that are grounded in the realities of everyday experience.
Her band includes Chris Stone (violin), Holly Downes (double bass) of New-Acoustic Instrumental trio, The String Contingent. Using rich textures and intricate arrangements, Lucy Wise Trio brings to life the characters of near and faraway places, and traverses the landscapes of memory, travel, and human relationships to place. Holly Norman

Holly Norman is a Western Australian songstress and classically trained percussionist who released her debut EP, Hollypop, in 2013. Combining intriguing and sometimes off-kilter lyrics with her mellow voice, Holly’s songs pay homage to the pop institution of the Beatles, Ben Folds, Regina Spektor and Joni Mitchell. Recently returned from a songwriting escape to the USA, this performance will see Holly collaborate with pianist Sarah Saunders to present some new material, as well as some pop-fusion favourites from her EP.
