Chris Stone and Holly Downes and I are honoured to be heading up to Gunnedah to be a part of The Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards 40th anniversary celebration. We will be performing new songs inspired by poems from the competiton’s archives of past winners and finalists. While exploring the archives, we’ve been amazed by the variety of perspectives, stories and issues explored by such unique and talented young poets.
