After performing to packed festival venues across Australia this year, Lucy Wise Trio return to Bundanoon to launch their EP, A Painting of the Universe in the place where it was recorded: Bundanoon’s beautiful sandstone Anglican Church.

ABOUT LUCY WISE TRIO
Hailing from the far South Western corner of Australia, singer-songwriter Lucy Wise has delighted audiences across Australia, New Zealand and the UK with her masterful storytelling, intricate ukulele and guitar playing and soulful voice.
She joins forces with Chris Stone (violin), Holly Downes (double bass) to form her trio. Together, they bring to life the characters of near and faraway places, traversing the landscapes of memory, travel, and human relationships to place.
Lucy’s third release, A Painting of the Universe (2015) comprises five songs, each telling a different story about life in Australia, and all inspired by winning poems of The Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards, a national poetry competition for people aged 6 – 18.
